It's good to be bad!

            Welcome to the dark side of cookie!

            Well, I have weird preferences. In games I prefer being the evil one, cause that make game more interesting and unique. Lets be honest, in many games we are the good ones and it is just to hackneyed. Also, being evil gives you chance, to do things in different ways or to make more suitable to us choices.

            I think, one of the better game series, in which we are evil, is “Dungeons”, especially the third one. The story of third is simple, we awake evilness in dark elf women, Thalia. She rebel against her foster father, Thanos, and tries to kill him and all good people. To do that, she need build her dungeons, enlist evil beings, like orcs, nagas, demons and banshees. Of course, they need food, money and sometimes beer, cause, as you may know, you cant conquer the world with empty belly.

 

            In this game even evil can be very funny. We have so many easter eggs and references to different games, books and movies, like “Lord of the Rings” or “World of Warcraft”. Even Thalia and Narrator know they are just a characters in game and they have lots of funny conversations and argues, also, sometimes they say something to player.

            It can also show, how good side is very annoying. Bad side of the game – heroes always try to prevent you, from doing your job. I can’t even count, how many times I was doing something, and than some stupid warriors entered to my dungeon and try destroy it. I know, they must do it, but, come on! Go bother someone else, I’m not the only bud guy in this world!

            Beside that, I must say, I like graphic and gameplay in this specific part of “Dungeons” series. It’s good and balanced, maybe a little annoying, but that can also be my fault, cause I gave myself some restrictions, just to have a bigger challenge and more fun. If you liked or still like “Dungeon Keeper” games I think you would also like “Dungeons 3”m cause it’s good successor of that series.

            That is all I wanted to say. If you like it, I’m very happy.
